Rodney L. Gabaldon
Rodney L. Gabaldon was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His family has a long history in New Mexico and has lived in the Albuquerque area for over 400 years. Mr. Gabaldon's family was one of the original families who founded the Town of Atrisco, now known as the Atrisco Land Grant.
Mr. Gabaldon is a graduate of the Albuquerque Academy, University of New Mexico, and the University of New Mexico School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Political Science and Spanish Literature in 1995. He graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1998. Mr. Gabaldon was a judicial extern for the Honorable Lorenzo F. Garcia, United States Magistrate Judge-District of New Mexico.
After law school, unlike many law graduates, Mr. Gabaldon was immediately sent to court and gained first chair trial experience conducting all aspects of litigation including depositions, motions practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Later, he was hired by a large national corporation as "in-house counsel" and achieved the level of Vice President-Corporate Counsel. He moved with the company first to Hawaii and later to Las Vegas, Nevada. He was tasked with representing the company in multiple jurisdictions, and obtained licensure in many jurisdictions as corporate counsel and practiced on a national level. Mr. Gabaldon represents and has represented clients in all aspects of Employment Law and Personal Injury.
Mr. Gabaldon returned to New Mexico to raise his family. He is licensed in the State of New Mexico, Federal District of New Mexico, 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the State of Texas.
